2. Visiting the website
When you access this website, our hosting provider records server log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system. This data is required for secure operation and is not combined with other sources.
3. Contact and enquiry forms
The details you submit through the forms on this website — typically your name, email address, phone number, the period you are interested in and your message — are used to handle your enquiry. The forms run on Gravity Forms; entries are stored in this website’s database and additionally sent to us by email.
4. Booking and stay
Bookings are handled through the property management system Mews (Mews Systems B.V., Netherlands). When you click a booking button, you enter the Mews booking flow; the data you enter there is processed by Mews on behalf of Belmont Residences AG. Availability and rates are retrieved from Mews by our server once a day — no data about you is transmitted in the process.
Credit card details are collected in order to process payments and to cover any additional costs; the particulars are set out in our general conditions.
Reporting to the authorities
For stays of less than 30 days we are required by law to register the stay with the local authorities. The guest data necessary for this is transmitted. This processing rests on a legal obligation and cannot be opted out of.
5. Cookies, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
This website uses Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics 4 to evaluate how the website is used. Cookies are set and usage data — including a truncated IP address, the pages you visit, time spent, the source of your visit and events such as submitted enquiries — is transmitted to Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited; transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out.
We base this processing on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving what this website offers. You may object at any time: through your browser’s cookie settings, by deleting the cookies that have been set, or with Google’s opt-out add-on. Objecting does not impair your use of the website.

Personal data is retained for as long as it is needed for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention periods require — in Switzerland, generally ten years for business records. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted once they are no longer needed.
8. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you and to have it corrected, deleted or handed over. You may object to processing and withdraw any consent given at any time. Please write to welcome@blre.ch.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or, within the EU, with the supervisory authority responsible for you.
9. Data security
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the way personal data is processed on this website changes. The version published here at any given time is the one that applies.
